craving for Dim Sum- 富興点心

First time having a Dim Sum breakfast,
in Bandar Puteri, Puchong(Selangor)  area,
ever since I study in Cyberjaya for 2 years ++.

There are jungles of Dim Sum restaurant around Puchong,
and I don’t even know which will be the best.
At the first thought,
I thought of Jin Xuan Dim Sum (点心)
But,
It was unreasonable expensive compared to the others,
although the service and environment are better.
Then,
At the first decision,
I thought of having dim sum in Axian Dim Sum (阿贤点心);
However,
I found out that the shop has been replaced by others.
So,
I ended up having my Dim Sum in (富興点心),
which are just a few shops apart.

The environment is quite comfortable,
with hygienic and clean dining area;
The services are quite satisfying,
with friendly waiter & waitress.
ermh...price wice,
the price is reasonable and worth it though.

and…
the most important thing is,
the DIM SUMs are delicious and marvelous!!!
All are my favourite…yummy yummy!!!

“siew mai”,烧卖( RM 4.50)
Traditionally, it was an steamed pork dumpling; however, many of the restaurant included prawn as one of the ingredients as well in order to improve the  texture to be more crisp. This will always be my first choice when i went to a Dim Sum restaurant as it represent the default measure for the Dim Sum quality in the particular restaurant. Besides, it is like the significant of Dim Sum.

 “crystals prawns dumpling”, 水晶虾饺(RM 4.50)

Fresh prawn dumpling which make up of the combination of several succulent prawns. There is only pure prawn-filling without any combination of pork/meat. The prawns was really fresh as you will be able to feel the crispness of the prawn while chewing it. The unique skin texture of the dumpling provides it with a transparent look, resembling the crystal.


“deep fried oatmeal mango prawn”香芒麦片虾(RM 4.50)
This can be considered a new recipe where by the ordinary oatmeal prawn only consists of the prawn-base-filling. However, the deep fried prawn here make a new combination of mango and prawn. Crispy on the outside with mouthful of prawn and mango. You can taste the extra delicious with the freshness and sweetness of the mango. Thumbs up!

“fried dumpling”韭菜煎饺(RM 4.50)

港式鸳鸯猪肠粉(RM 4.50)

“steamed egg custard bun”奶皇金沙包(RM 5.00)


Liquefied egg yolk burried mountainously inside the steaming custard bun with fragrant butter aroma. A mouthful of egg yolk custard melted in your mouth with every bites. Loving it!!!
